Dairy Women's Network
Business Leaders
Here at The Training Hub we work with businesses to create custom-made workshops to fit yours and your learners needs.
Dairy Women's Network, a not-for-profit organisation from New Zealand, offer a place for women around the country a place to thrive and learn about farming, as well as giving them the opportunity to lead other farmers within their area.
They create events where members can come together and grow as team members and individuals to connect their knowledge and skills within their farming careers.
Each group is run by a Business Group Leader, someone who takes charge of monthly meetings and organises activities and support to the growing community.
Leadership Programme
Custom-Made for Dairy Women's Network Business Group Leaders
Finding the Clients Needs
Before we create any programme, we need to find out how the client wants to benefit from our workshops, this is conducted through a needs analysis. We then meet with the rest of the team, the Business Group Leaders, to find out their priority needs and wants. Ultimately we're designing this for them, so it's important we listen to their needs and wants so we can create the perfect outcome for them.
Creating the Workshops
It was made clear to us they wanted the programme run over three, four hour sessions to fit around their busy work schedules. This meant plenty of preparation to make sure each workshop covered with all goals met. Keeping the clients in the loop, Project Leader Karen Bain, is a vital part of the process to make sure we're keeping the leaders happy and everything is on track.
Evaluation Process
For us, it's important our work is evaluated by our clients to make sure we're meeting their needs and to find out what we can work on in the future. After each workshop, an evaluation was emailed to all participants where we found out just how good or bad we were!
